Life as a CIR in a rural Kagawan town in Japan.
This is a giant bronze lantern at the Konpira-san (Kompira mountain) temple complex. It was a nice bright day today, which led to some interesting effects for photography.

A Graduate student at Teikyo University in Tokyo, studying Japanese-Korean relations, and as a result have gone off to study Korean in Seoul until April. (Winter break here is from mid-January to March, but I skipped out on class a little early...)
