I figure this is some type of mountain lily. I ran across this when being escorted up a local mountain range to try out 'Nagashi Soumen' at the peak.

A Graduate student at Teikyo University in Tokyo, studying Japanese-Korean relations, and as a result have gone off to study Korean in Seoul until April. (Winter break here is from mid-January to March, but I skipped out on class a little early...)
